卤代咔唑(PHCZs)是咔唑环上的氢原子被卤原子 (F、Cl、Br、I)取代后产生的一类化合物。从结构上看,和多卤代-二苯并-呋喃(PXCDFs,一类二噁英物质)非常相似(图1),PHCZs具有潜在的环境持久性、生物累积性与生物毒性。PHCZs的来源和生成机理复杂,主要分为自然来源(生物酶催化卤化)和人为来源(如光电材料、靛蓝染料生产过程产生的副产物)。
同传统二噁英类似,PHCZs在环境介质中浓度较低,同时基质复杂,对样品前处理和仪器分析提出了较高的要求。
